It is hard to say when my fascination with pearls began. Perhaps it was when my parents presented me with my first pearl necklace and earring set. Always a favorite, I would find any excuse to wear them. As the years have passed I have been fortunate in acquiring a number of pearl and faux pearl bits of jewelry and they still remain favorites to wear. As I began to wear German Renaissance clothing, my embroidery mentor introduced to Pearl Sticken - German Pearl Embroidery. Needless to say I was hooked quickly.
